About us - The Payee team and mission

How did Payee get started?

The brainchild of Dávid Grüll, then a law student at ELTE, working in a law firm, he saw how many of a particular legal instrument, the order for payment procedure, were launched every year, and how much the process could be templated and digitised. Thanks to his affinity for IT, he dreamed up an online platform where companies could initiate legal claims actions with the ease of ordering a pizza, without having to talk to anyone or run unnecessary circles. Administration is minimal, with Payee doing everything for them in the background.

Soon afterwards, he met his future co-founder, Bence Badinszky, who was working as a business analyst for a large IT company as a recent graduate in business informatics at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Word by word, they decided at the end of 2019 to work together to create and make Payee a success.
